POS Cafe Product Update - July 2026
POS Cafe Online Ordering now works with Zapiet Pickup & Delivery, so customers can build their order in your menu and schedule pickup or delivery through Zapiet.
July brought our first pickup and delivery integration: POS Cafe Online Ordering now works with the Zapiet Pickup & Delivery app.
Why Zapiet?
Many cafes already use Zapiet for advanced pickup, local delivery and last-mile options. With the integration, customers build their order in your POS Cafe menu, with all their modifiers, and then schedule pickup or delivery through Zapiet at checkout.
How it works
- A seamless hand-off. With the integration turned on, opening the cart takes customers straight to your Shopify cart page, where Zapiet’s widget handles pickup or delivery, the location, the date and the time.
- Location mapping. Match your Zapiet location IDs to your Shopify locations in Settings → Integrations → Zapiet Pickup & Delivery.
- Straight to your kitchen. Zapiet’s pickup and delivery details flow through to your order tickets and Fresh KDS, so your team knows when each order is due.
- Online Ordering only. The integration applies to Online Ordering and doesn’t change the POS Cafe tile.
