The Settings area in POS Cafe is where you can configure global preferences, manage device behavior, set up integrations, and control online ordering features. These settings help ensure your app is aligned with both your Shopify store setup and your day-to-day operations.
Admin Settings
Under Admin Settings, make sure your sales channels are correctly configured and that your modifier collection is correctly selected.
- Sales Channels: Ensure both Online Store and Point of Sale channels are enabled for POS Cafe.
- Modifier Collection: Select the collection that includes your modifier products.
These settings are required to ensure POS Cafe functions correctly with your Shopify store.
Device Settings
These options help manage how your POS Cafe app behaves on your Shopify POS device.
- Re-Sync POS Cafe: Click Sync Now to refresh your products and settings across POS Cafe and Shopify POS.
- Receipt Customisations Requires Shopify POS Pro: Customise the receipts printed for customer orders (e.g. show prep areas, product modifiers).
Online Ordering
Configure the settings that apply to your online ordering workflow.
- Translations: Manage the text shown to customers in the online ordering flow.
- Delivery Rates & Options: Configure delivery radius, rates, and methods. These settings are managed in your Shopify shipping settings.
Integrations
Connect POS Cafe with third-party services and tools.
- Fresh KDS: Link your app to a kitchen display system for faster, paperless order handling.
Account
Manage your subscription and access help when needed.
- Subscription: View your current subscription plan and update as needed.
