Installation & Connecting Your Store

Three one-time steps get online ordering live: connect the Storefront API, add the ordering block to a page, and set your ordering page URL.

1. Connect the Storefront API

The menu loads live prices and availability directly from your store through Shopify's Storefront API. Connecting it ensures customers always see current, market-correct pricing (including the right currency for their region).

  1. Go to Settings → General Online Ordering Settings.
  2. Find the Online ordering connection card.
  3. Follow the prompt to connect. Once connected, the card shows a connected status.

2. Add the ordering block to a page

The storefront menu is delivered by the “POS Cafe Online” block, which you add in your theme editor. We recommend a dedicated page (for example, an “Order” page).

  1. In Shopify admin, open Online Store → Themes → Customize.
  2. Navigate to (or create) the page you want to use for ordering.
  3. Choose Add section / block and select POS Cafe Online.
  4. Save.

3. Set your ordering page URL

Back in Settings → General Online Ordering Settings, paste the full URL of the page where you added the block into Online ordering page URL. This powers table QR codes that deep-link customers to the correct location and table.
