Each location has its own online ordering settings — whether ordering is on, which order types you accept, opening hours, and how live stock is shown. Open a location from the Locations list to manage these.
Enable online ordering
On the location's Online Ordering card, turn online ordering on or off for that location. Only locations with ordering enabled appear to customers; if you have several, customers can pick one (or scan a QR for a specific location).
Order types
Choose which fulfilment options this location offers (for example, dine-in / “For Here”, takeaway / “To Go”, and pickup). You can also allow customers to order for later (scheduled), in addition to ordering for now.
Store hours & date overrides
A location's opening hours drive its Open / Closed status and the time slots offered for scheduled orders. Add date overrides for holidays or special events (for example, closing early on a public holiday).
Local pickup & live inventory
To show live, per-location stock (so a sold-out item at one cafe isn't shown as available at another), enable local pickup for the location in your Shopify shipping settings. With local pickup on, the menu reads real-time availability per location.
If online ordering is on but local pickup is off, the app shows a nudge banner on the location page. Until you enable local pickup, the menu falls back to the stock captured at the last menu publish, which can go out of date between publishes.
When changes go live
Saving menu-affecting changes (including location settings) re-publishes your menu to the storefront automatically, a few moments later. See the Building Your Menu settings for details.
